meh, reminds me of murder..
I know there's more beyond that for those who are more detatched.
I cannot sufficiently emphasise how much I despise this kind of entanglement in art : yes there is honesty, yes there is beauty, yes this makes me sick because of the clash between all that it shows and all that it doesn't show ; it's an honest lie, a rotten truth.
I get lost in meaning

I don't think it's not supposed to remind you of all that you've said. They're photos of soldiers because they are soldiers.

They are very beautiful. What makes the series for me is the glimpse of white lace from behind the shirt of the curly-haired one with the glass of beer.

I spent a week in the Israeli army (a brief stint of basic training) many years ago. Thanks for the memories. Makes me want to pull out the commander's uniform and snap some photos.
