b: a material substance (as a coin or stone) having on it a representation of thoughts by means of some conventional mark or symbol c: documentary

We're being featured in a film on photography soon. I'll post the link once it comes out and once I like it. If it's terrible or gigantically unflattering I'll just assume this is enough information for anyone to eventually find it.

Three ironies of having video made of us while we ramble about art, creation and desire: 1) I often say way too many truths about why I make things, even if I think I'm obscuring the real answer, 2) I like challenges and consider blanket statements about what we make not a personal affront but a personal reason to prove otherwise, and 3) I like making images when the video cameras have been turned off and the cameramen are otherwise distracted, per the case with these.

Apparently, also, we both find reasons to argue fervently with directors.

are not (1) art, (2) creation, (3) desire, three ironies in of themselves?
